Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Chapel Hill, NC
Are you a CDL-A driver in search of an OTR opportunity that guarantees weekly home time? At American Trucking Group, we provide dry van routes throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic with excellent equipment and competitive pay.
Home Time:
- Home weekly for a 34-hour reset.
- Our OTR routes are structured to ensure consistent miles while providing you with quality time for family and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks that come equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for comfort.
- You can take your assigned truck and trailer home as long as safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight:
- Work primarily with dry van freight, featuring 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations.
- Minimal physical demands, allowing you to focus on driving efficiently.
Pay and Miles:
- Drivers typically earn between $1,200 and $1,600 per week, depending on mileage and performance.
- Additional compensation includes detention pay based on customer policy, $12 per hour layover after the first hour, plus an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
Running Area:
- Routes span Vermont, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
- All tolls are covered with EZ Pass and toll cards.
