Regional Dry Van Company Driver (W-2) - Charlotte, NC
American Trucking Group is looking for skilled CDL-A drivers for our regional dry van positions. Benefit from weekly home time with a 34-hour reset.
Your Role:
- Safely transport dry van freight, with minimal physical work involved (95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook).
- Average earnings between $1,150 and $1,500 weekly, dependent on your performance and mileage.
Service Area:
- Operating in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Alabama.
Fleet Details:
- Drive our late-model trucks including International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworths, all with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for your comfort.
- Take your truck and trailer home if there is a safe parking space.
Benefits Offered:

- A passenger policy available after 30 days, with age restrictions based on the time of year.
Additional Pay:
- Detention pay based on customer policy, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
- All tolls covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Orientation Process:
- Attend a three-day orientation from Tuesday to Thursday at multiple locations. We provide transportation, lodging, and meals.
- Orientation sites include Alvarado, TX; Atlanta, GA; Chester, VA; Juliet, TN; Jacksonville, FL; Tacoma, WA; Medford, OR; and Phoenix, AZ.
Requirements
- • Valid CDL Class A license
- • Clean driving record
- • Minimum 12 months tractor trailer experience
- • Pass DOT physical and drug screening
