Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Chesterfield, MO
Are you a CDL-A driver looking for an OTR position that guarantees weekly home time and minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we provide dry van routes across the Midwest featuring top-quality equipment and competitive compensation. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving while following a consistent schedule that brings you home every week.
Home Time: Home every week for a 34-hour reset. Our OTR routes are designed to provide steady miles while allowing you to maintain quality time with family and personal commitments.
Equipment: Drive late-model trucks like International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworths, equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for comfort. You can take your assigned truck and trailer home if safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight: Most of our freight is dry van with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations, minimizing physical work and allowing you to focus on driving effectively.
Pay and Miles: Drivers typically earn between $1,200 to $1,600 weekly, based on mileage and performance. Additional compensation includes detention pay according to customer policy, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
Running Area: Our routes cover Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Iowa. All tolls are conveniently covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance begins on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. We offer $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match up to 3%. A passenger policy is available after 30 days with certain age restrictions.
