Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Columbus, GA
Are you a CDL-A driver in search of an OTR role that guarantees weekly home time and involves minimal physical tasks? At American Trucking Group, we have dry van routes available throughout the Southeast with exceptional equipment and attractive pay. Enjoy the independence of OTR driving while sticking to a reliable schedule that gets you home each week.
Home Time:
- Return home every week for a 34-hour reset.
- Our OTR routes are structured to provide consistent miles, ensuring you have regular time for family and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks.
- Equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for heating and cooling.
- Take your assigned truck and trailer home if safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight:
- Mainly transporting dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations.
- Minimal physical effort needed, allowing you to focus on driving and maximizing productivity.
Pay and Miles:
- Drivers typically earn between $900 to $1,200 weekly based on mileage and performance.
- Additional pay includes detention pay according to customer policy, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
Running Area:
- Routes cover the Southeast, including Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
- All tolls are covered with EZ Pass and toll cards.
Benefits:

- Passenger policy available after 30 days with age restrictions.
