Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Dearborn, MI
Are you a qualified CDL-A driver looking for a fulfilling OTR opportunity that provides weekly home time with minimal physical strain? At American Trucking Group, we offer dry van routes across the Midwest, featuring excellent equipment and attractive compensation. Home Time:
- Home every week for a 34-hour reset, designed to help you maintain family connections and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Operate late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, all with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for your comfort. Feel free to take your assigned truck and trailer home if there’s safe parking available.
No Touch Freight:
- Mainly dry van freight with a 95% no-touch policy and 85% drop and hook operations, minimizing physical work and allowing you to concentrate on driving efficiently.
Pay and Miles:
- Drivers can expect to average $1,100 weekly based on mileage and performance. Additional compensation includes detention pay per customer policy, $12 per hour for layovers after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for maintaining an accident-free record.
Running Area:
- Routes covering Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Kentucky, with all tolls managed through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Benefits:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance begins the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Additional offerings include $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) with a 50% company match up to 3%. A passenger policy becomes available after 30 days with age restrictions.
