Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Des Moines, IA
Are you a CDL-A driver looking for a stable position that offers excellent home time and competitive compensation? At American Trucking Group, we provide dedicated delivery routes for Dollar Tree across the Midwest and South, utilizing modern equipment and offering substantial earning potential.
Home Time: Enjoy weekly home time for a 34-hour reset with predictable schedules, allowing for quality family moments and personal commitments.
Equipment: Drive 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadias and Kenworths, all equipped with 1,200-1,500 watt inverters. You can either park at terminals or take your truck home, with safe parking options available.
Touch Freight: Engage in 100% touch freight deliveries to Dollar Tree locations, with 50-60% of loads being drop and hook, while the remainder involves live unload for varied daily tasks.
Pay and Miles: Drivers covering about 1,800 miles and handling 4 loads can expect to earn an average of $1,400 weekly after taxes. This includes a $1,000 sign-on bonus and additional compensation like detention pay ($12.50/hour after the second hour) and layover pay ($100/day, excluding Sundays).
Running Area: Our routes cover dedicated deliveries to Dollar Tree across North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana.
