Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Des Moines, IA
Are you a CDL-A driver looking for a fulfilling OTR role that allows you to be home weekly with minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we offer dry van routes throughout the Midwest with top-notch equipment and competitive pay. Enjoy the liberty of over-the-road driving while keeping a consistent schedule that ensures you return home every week.
Home Time:
- Home every week for a 34-hour reset.
- Our OTR routes are structured to provide consistent miles while allowing you to maintain quality time with your family and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Operate late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, all equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for efficient heating and cooling.
- Take your assigned truck and trailer home when safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily handling dry van freight with 95% no-touch freight and 85% drop and hook operations.
- Minimal physical labor required, allowing you to concentrate on driving and enhancing your efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Drivers typically earn between $1,200 and $1,600 weekly, based on mileage and performance.
- Additional compensation includes detention pay per customer policy, $12/hour layover pay after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
Running Area:
- Routes span across Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Iowa.
- All tolls are covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
