Regional Dry Van Company Driver (W-2) - Dothan, AL
American Trucking Group is hiring CDL-A drivers for a Regional Dry Van position in Dothan, AL. This role offers the advantage of weekly home time with a 34-hour reset, enhancing your work-life balance.
Salary Overview:
- Drivers can expect to earn between $1,150 and $1,500 weekly, based on performance and mileage.
Key Duties Include:
- Operate modern trucks, including International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworths, equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and the Opti-Idle system for comfort.
- You may take your truck home, provided it can be parked safely.
Comprehensive Benefits:
- Medical, dental, and vision plans kick in the first of the month after 60 days of employment.
- $20,000 in life insurance, paid for by the company.
- Vacation pay and a 401(k) with a 50% company match up to 3%.
- Passenger policy available after 30 days; no pets allowed.
Extra Compensation Options:
- Eligible for detention pay according to customer policies, and layover pay at $12/hour after the first hour.
- An annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for drivers with an accident-free record.
- All tolls are covered with EZ Pass.
Orientation Information:
- Orientation lasts three days from Tuesday to Thursday, held at various locations, with bus or train transportation provided, along with hotel accommodations and meals.
Requirements
- • Valid CDL Class A license
- • Clean driving record
- • Minimum 12 months tractor trailer experience
- • Pass DOT physical and drug screening
