Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 Job - Eden Prairie, MN
Are you a CDL-A driver seeking an OTR opportunity that provides weekly home time with minimal physical exertion? At American Trucking Group, we offer dry van routes across the Midwest, featuring top-notch equipment and competitive compensation. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving while ensuring a consistent schedule that brings you home each week.
Home Time: Home every week for a 34-hour reset. Our OTR routes are structured to provide steady miles while allowing you to maintain regular family time and personal commitments.
Equipment: Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for climate control. You can take your assigned truck and trailer home, provided there's safe parking available.
No Touch Freight: Primarily dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations. Minimal physical work required, allowing you to focus on driving and maximizing your efficiency.
Pay and Miles: Drivers average $1,200 to $1,600 per week depending on mileage and performance. Additional compensation includes detention pay based on customer policy, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free performance.
Running Area: Routes covering Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Iowa. All tolls covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance begins the first of the month following 60 days of employment. $20,000 company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) with 50% company match up to 3%. Passenger policy available after 30 days with age restrictions.
