Are you a CDL-A driver looking for a fulfilling OTR position that ensures weekly home time with minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we offer reliable dry van routes throughout the Midwest with exceptional equipment and competitive pay.

Home Time: You’ll return home every week for a 34-hour reset, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while driving steady miles.

Equipment: Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, all equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for heating and cooling. You can take your assigned truck and trailer home when safe parking is available.

No Touch Freight: Most freight is dry van, with 95% being no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations, letting you focus on driving without heavy lifting.

Pay and Miles: Drivers earn an average of $1,100 per week, depending on mileage and performance. Additional pay includes detention compensation as per customer policy, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.

Running Area: Routes cover Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Kentucky, with all tolls covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.

Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance begins the month after 60 days of employment. We also provide $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match up to 3%. A passenger policy is available after 30 days with age restrictions.
