Regional Dry Van Company Driver (W-2) - Fort Mill, SC
Join American Trucking Group as a CDL-A Regional Dry Van Driver and relish the advantage of weekly home time with a 34-hour reset.
Position Overview:
- Primarily handle dry van freight, with 95% being no-touch and 85% drop and hook, minimizing physical effort.
- Expect to earn an average of $1,150 to $1,500 per week based on performance and mileage.
- Running zones cover GA, FL, SC, NC, TN, and AL.
Equipment & Benefits:
- Drive late-model trucks such as International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth, all featuring 1,500-watt inverters and the Opti-Idle system for optimal heating and cooling.
- Trucks can be taken home provided there’s a secure parking arrangement.
- Benefits kick in on the first of the month after 60 days, including medical, dental, vision, and $20,000 in life insurance paid by the company.
- Enjoy vacation pay and a 401(k) with a 50% company match up to 3%.
- Passenger policy available after 30 days, with age restrictions varying by the season.
Additional Incentives:
- Detention pay according to customer policy, and layover pay of $12/hour after the first hour.
- An annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for maintaining an accident-free record.
- All tolls covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Orientation Details:
- Orientation lasts three days from Tuesday to Thursday at multiple locations.
- Transportation by bus or train is provided, along with a private hotel room and meals during orientation.
Requirements
- • Valid CDL Class A license
- • Clean driving record
- • Minimum 12 months tractor trailer experience
- • Pass DOT physical and drug screening
