- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Cover Midwest dry‑van lanes operating from the Chicago area while benefiting from reliable home‑weekly schedules. As a solo CDL‑A operator with HMD Trucking you’ll execute linehaul and local delivery duties, perform mandatory inspections, secure cargo properly, and maintain accurate logs to meet DOT and customer standards.
What you’ll receive:
- $0.70 per mile for all miles plus a $2,500 sign‑on bonus
- Consistent weekly home time and comprehensive health, dental, vision, 401(k) and paid time off
- Additional pay incentives for orientation, clean inspections and referrals, and access to modern equipment from a 500+ truck fleet
Requirements: Valid CDL‑A and 12 months verifiable commercial driving experience.
