Regional Dry Van Company Driver (W-2) - Gallatin, TN
Become part of American Trucking Group as a Regional Dry Van Driver. This role allows you to be home weekly for a 34-hour reset.
Position Highlights:
- Primarily dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook, minimizing physical work.
- Weekly earnings between $1,150 and $1,500, depending on your mileage and performance.
- Routes cover GA, FL, SC, NC, TN, and AL.
Trucking Equipment:
- Operate late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems.
- Take your truck and trailer home, provided you have a safe parking location.
Comprehensive Benefits:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance begins on the first of the month after your first 60 days.
- Company-paid life insurance of $20,000, vacation pay, and a 401(k) with a 50% match up to 3%.
- A passenger policy kicks in after 30 days, with age restrictions based on the season.
Compensation Details:
- Earn detention pay per customer policy, layover pay at $12/hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
- All toll expenses are covered via EZ Pass and toll cards.
Orientation Process:
- Three-day orientation from Tuesday to Thursday at multiple locations, with transportation, hotel, and meals provided.
Requirements
- • Valid CDL Class A license
- • Clean driving record
- • Minimum 12 months tractor trailer experience
- • Pass DOT physical and drug screening
