Regional Dry Van Company Driver (W2) - Goose Creek, SC

Join the American Trucking Group family as we hire CDL-A drivers for an OTR dry van position in Goose Creek, SC. This role comes with the promise of weekly home time for a 34-hour reset.

What We Offer:

  • Primarily handle dry van freight with 95% being no-touch and 85% drop-and-hook, allowing for less physical labor.
  • Average earnings range from $1,150 to $1,500 weekly based on mileage and driving performance.
  • Your operations will cover the states of GA, FL, SC, NC, TN, and AL.

Our Fleet:

  • Drive late-model trucks, including International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworths, all equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems.
  • Take your truck and trailer home, provided there's secure parking.

Benefits Package:

  • Benefits start on the first of the month following 60 days of employment, featuring medical, dental, and vision insurance alongside $20,000 in life insurance covered by the company.
  • Vacation pay and a 401(k) with a 50% company match up to 3% available.
  • After 30 days, you can include a passenger in your truck, subject to age restrictions; pets are not allowed.

Additional Earnings:

  • Detention pay based on customer policy, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
  • Coverage of all tolls through EZ Pass and toll cards.

Orientation Details:

  • Orientation spans three days from Tuesday to Thursday, held at various locations, with transportation, hotel accommodations, and meals provided.
  • Orientation sites include Alvarado, TX; Atlanta, GA; Chester, VA; Juliet, TN; Jacksonville, FL; Tacoma, WA; Medford, OR; and Phoenix, AZ.

Requirements

  • • Valid CDL Class A license
  • • Clean driving record
  • • Minimum 12 months tractor trailer experience
  • • Pass DOT physical and drug screening
