Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Hamden, CT
Are you a CDL-A driver in search of a fulfilling OTR position that prioritizes home time and requires minimal physical effort? Join American Trucking Group for dry van routes across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, where we provide superior equipment and competitive compensation.
Home Time:
- Return home every week for a 34-hour reset. Our OTR routes are designed for steady miles, ensuring you remain connected with family and personal life.
Equipment:
- Operate modern International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks featuring 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for heating and cooling. You can take your truck home if safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight:
- Work primarily with dry van freight that offers 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations. This allows you to concentrate on driving efficiently without much physical strain.
Pay and Miles:
- Our drivers earn an average of $1,200 to $1,600 per week based on mileage and performance metrics. Additional benefits include detention pay as per customer policies, layover pay of $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
Running Area:
- Our routes cover Vermont, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, and Kentucky. All toll costs are handled via EZ Pass and toll cards.
Benefits:
