Vacancy description

American Trucking Group is seeking CDL-A drivers for a regional dry van position that guarantees weekly home time with a 34-hour reset.

Job Overview:

The freight is primarily dry van, with 95% being no-touch and 85% drop and hook, resulting in minimal physical work.
Average earnings range from $1,150 to $1,500 weekly based on mileage and performance.
Operating areas include GA, FL, SC, NC, TN, and AL.
Our fleet consists of late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, featuring 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for comfort.

Employee Benefits:

Medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, begin on the first of the month after 60 days of employment.
Vacation pay and a 401(k) with a 50% company match up to 3% are also included.
A passenger policy is available after 30 days, with specific age restrictions.
Note: There is no pet policy.

Additional Compensation Details:

Detention pay based on customer policy, $12 per hour for layovers after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
All tolls are covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.

Orientation Information:

Orientation runs for three days from Tuesday to Thursday at multiple sites, with transportation, hotel accommodations, and meals provided.
Orientation sites include Alvarado, TX; Atlanta, GA; Chester, VA; Juliet, TN; Jacksonville, FL; Tacoma, WA; Medford, OR; and Phoenix, AZ.
