Regional Dry Van Company Driver (W-2) - Johnson City, TN
Join American Trucking Group as we seek experienced CDL-A drivers for a regional dry van role that guarantees home time each week with a 34-hour reset.
Job Overview:
- Freight is primarily dry van, with 95% being no-touch and 85% drop and hook, leading to minimal physical labor.
- Average earnings are between $1,150 and $1,500 weekly, depending on your mileage and performance.
- The operating area includes GA, FL, SC, NC, TN, and AL.
- Our fleet consists of late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, featuring 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for climate control.
Employee Benefits:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, begin on the first of the month after 60 days of employment.
- Includes vacation pay and a 401(k) with a 50% company match up to 3%.
- A passenger policy is available after 30 days, with specific age restrictions.
- No pet policy in place.
Additional Compensation Details:
- Detention pay based on customer policy, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
- All tolls are covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Orientation Information:
- Orientation runs for three days from Tuesday to Thursday and takes place at several locations. We provide transportation, hotel accommodations, and meals.
- Orientation sites include Alvarado, TX; Atlanta, GA; Chester, VA; Juliet, TN; Jacksonville, FL; Tacoma, WA; Medford, OR; and Phoenix, AZ.
Requirements
- • Valid CDL Class A license
- • Clean driving record
- • Minimum 12 months tractor trailer experience
- • Pass DOT physical and drug screening
