Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 Job - Joplin, MO
Are you a CDL-A driver seeking a rewarding OTR opportunity that provides weekly home time and requires minimal physical effort? At American Trucking Group, we specialize in dry van routes with top-tier equipment and competitive pay. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving while adhering to a regular schedule that ensures you get home each week.
Home Time:
- Return home every week for a 34-hour reset. Our OTR routes are designed to guarantee consistent miles while allowing you to enjoy valuable time with family and manage personal responsibilities.
Equipment:
- Drive modern International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks outfitted with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for heating and cooling. You may take your assigned truck and trailer home, provided there’s safe parking available.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily dealing with dry van freight, boasting 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations. This means minimal physical work, allowing you to concentrate on driving and enhancing your efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Expect earnings between $1,150 to $1,500 weekly, depending on mileage and performance. Additional compensation includes detention pay in line with customer policy, $12 per hour layover pay after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for maintaining an accident-free record.
Running Area:
- Routes cover Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Michigan, with all tolls taken care of via EZ Pass and toll cards.

- Enjoy medical, dental, and vision coverage starting the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Additional perks include $20,000 company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) with a 50% company match up to 3%.
