Regional Dry Van Company Driver (W-2) - Kingsport, TN
Join American Trucking Group as we seek CDL-A drivers for a regional dry van position that guarantees weekly home time with a 34-hour reset.
Key Responsibilities:
- The freight is mainly dry van, featuring 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook, ensuring minimal physical labor.
- Average earnings range from $1,150 to $1,500 weekly, based on performance and mileage.
- Operating areas include GA, FL, SC, NC, TN, and AL.
- Our fleet includes late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for climate comfort.
Benefits Include:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, begin on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
- Enjoy vacation pay and a 401(k) with a 50% company match up to 3%.
- A passenger policy is available after 30 days, with age restrictions based on the season.
- Please note, there is no pet policy.
Additional Pay Opportunities:
- Detention pay as per customer policy and $12 per hour layover pay after the first hour.
- An annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for maintaining an accident-free record.
- All toll expenses are covered with EZ Pass and toll cards.
Orientation Details:
- Orientation spans three days from Tuesday to Thursday at various locations, with transportation, hotel accommodations, and meals included.
- Orientation sites include Alvarado, TX; Atlanta, GA; Chester, VA; Juliet, TN; Jacksonville, FL; Tacoma, WA; Medford, OR; and Phoenix, AZ.
Requirements
- • Valid CDL Class A license
- • Clean driving record
- • Minimum 12 months tractor trailer experience
- • Pass DOT physical and drug screening
