Regional Dry Van Company Driver (W-2) - Knoxville, TN
American Trucking Group is looking for dedicated CDL-A drivers for a regional dry van position that allows for weekly home time with a 34-hour reset.
Key Details:
- Freight primarily consists of dry van, with 95% being no-touch and 85% drop and hook, minimizing physical labor.
- Drivers can expect to earn between $1,150 and $1,500 weekly, depending on mileage and performance.
- Operating areas include GA, FL, SC, NC, TN, and AL.
- Our fleet includes late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for climate control.
Benefits:

- Enjoy vacation pay and a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match up to 3%.
- A passenger policy is available after 30 days, with age restrictions during certain times of the year.

Additional Compensation:
- Detention pay based on customer policy and layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour.
- Annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
- All tolls are covered via EZ Pass and toll cards.
Orientation:
- Orientation lasts three days from Tuesday to Thursday at various locations, providing transportation, hotel accommodations, and meals.
- Orientation sites include Alvarado, TX; Atlanta, GA; Chester, VA; Juliet, TN; Jacksonville, FL; Tacoma, WA; Medford, OR; and Phoenix, AZ.
Requirements
- • Valid CDL Class A license
- • Clean driving record
- • Minimum 12 months tractor trailer experience
- • Pass DOT physical and drug screening
