Regional Dry Van Company Driver (W-2) - LaGrange, GA
American Trucking Group is actively seeking skilled CDL-A drivers for a regional dry van position in LaGrange, GA. Benefit from weekly home time and a structured 34-hour reset.
Job Highlights:
- Focused on dry van freight with 95% no-touch freight and 85% drop and hook, minimizing physical exertion.
- Weekly earnings average between $1,150 and $1,500, influenced by mileage and performance.
- Operating territories include GA, FL, SC, NC, TN, and AL.
- Drive late-model trucks featuring 1,500-watt inverters and the Opti-Idle system for comfort.
What We Offer:
- Benefits starting on the first of the month after 60 days, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Company-paid life insurance of $20,000, vacation pay, and a 401(k) with a 50% match up to 3%.
- Passenger policy available after 30 days (age restrictions apply).
- No pet policy.
Additional Compensation:
- Detention pay based on customer policy and layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour.
- Annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free performance. All tolls are covered via EZ Pass.
Orientation Process:
- Orientation lasts three days from Tuesday to Thursday at various locations, including LaGrange, GA.
- Transportation, private hotel accommodations, and meals are provided during the onboarding process.
Requirements
- • Valid CDL Class A license
- • Clean driving record
- • Minimum 12 months tractor trailer experience
- • Pass DOT physical and drug screening
