Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 Job - Lima, OH

Are you a CDL-A driver looking for an OTR position that provides consistent home time and low physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we offer dry van routes throughout the Midwest with top-quality equipment and attractive pay packages.

Home Time:

  • Enjoy being home every week for a 34-hour reset.
  • Our OTR routes ensure steady miles while allowing you to maintain essential family time and personal commitments.

Equipment:

  • Drive our modern fleet, including International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, which come equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for your comfort.
  • You can take your assigned truck and trailer home, provided safe parking is available.

No Touch Freight:

  • Work primarily with dry van freight, boasting 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations.
  • Minimal physical work is required, enabling you to concentrate on driving and maximizing your efficiency.

Pay and Miles:

  • Average earnings range from $1,200 to $1,600 weekly, based on mileage and performance.
  • Additional compensation includes detention pay according to customer policy, $12 per hour layover pay after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.

Running Area:

  • Routes span across Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Iowa.
  • All tolls are covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.

Benefits:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance available starting the first of the month after 60 days of employment.
  • Company-paid life insurance of $20,000, vacation pay, and a 401(k) with a 50% match up to 3%.
  • A passenger policy is available after 30 days, subject to age restrictions.
