Regional Dry Van Company Driver (W-2) - Mount Juliet, TN
Join the American Trucking Group as a Regional Dry Van Driver and enjoy weekly home time for a 34-hour reset.
Position Overview:
- Work primarily with dry van freight, boasting 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook, minimizing physical labor.
- Average weekly earnings between $1,150 and $1,500 based on your mileage and performance.
- Coverage area includes GA, FL, SC, NC, TN, and AL.
Equipment Provided:
- Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, all featuring 1,500-watt inverters and the Opti-Idle system.
- Drivers can take their trucks and trailers home if a secure spot is available.
Benefits Package:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance begins on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
- Enjoy $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) plan with a 50% match up to 3%.
- A passenger policy is available after 30 days, with age limitations based on the season.
Additional Compensation:
- Detention pay based on customer policy, layover pay at $12/hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for maintaining an accident-free record.
- All tolls are covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Orientation Schedule:
- Orientation runs for three days from Tuesday to Thursday at various locations, with provided transportation, hotel accommodations, and meals.
Requirements
- • Valid CDL Class A license
- • Clean driving record
- • Minimum 12 months tractor trailer experience
- • Pass DOT physical and drug screening
