Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Newark, NJ
Are you a CDL-A driver looking for an OTR position that ensures weekly home time with minimal physical exertion? At American Trucking Group, we offer dry van routes throughout the Northeast, featuring outstanding equipment and attractive compensation. Home Time:
- Home every week for a 34-hour reset.
- Our OTR routes are crafted to provide you with steady miles while allowing you to enjoy regular family time and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Operate late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, all equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for heating and cooling.
- You can take your assigned truck and trailer home, provided there is safe parking available.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily handle dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations.
- Minimal physical work allows you to focus on driving and maximizing efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Average weekly earnings of $1,150 based on mileage and performance.
- Additional compensation includes detention pay per customer policy, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
Running Area:
- Routes span Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
- All tolls are covered via EZ Pass and toll cards.
