Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Northampton, MA
Are you a CDL-A driver looking for an OTR position that provides weekly home time and minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we offer dry van routes throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, featuring top-notch equipment and attractive compensation. Experience the joy of over-the-road driving while enjoying a consistent schedule that ensures you return home each week.
Home Time:
- Home weekly for a 34-hour reset.
- Our OTR routes guarantee steady miles, allowing you to spend quality time with family and fulfill personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Operate late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for heating and cooling.
- Take your assigned truck and trailer home, provided there is safe parking available.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations.
- Minimal physical work required, enabling you to concentrate on driving and optimizing your productivity.
Pay and Miles:
- Drivers can expect to earn between $1,200 to $1,600 weekly based on mileage and performance.
- Additional compensation includes detention pay as per customer policy, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
Running Area:
- Covering routes in Vermont, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
- All tolls are covered via EZ Pass and toll cards.
Benefits:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance starts the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
- $20,000 company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match up to 3%.
- A passenger policy is available after 30 days with age restrictions.
