Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Owensboro, KY
Are you a CDL-A driver in search of an OTR position that guarantees weekly home time? Join American Trucking Group for dry van routes throughout the South Central and Midwest regions, featuring top-notch equipment and competitive pay.
Home Time: Be home every week for a 34-hour reset. Our OTR routes are structured to deliver steady miles while allowing you to prioritize family time and personal commitments.
Equipment: Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks outfitted with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems. You can take your assigned truck and trailer home if safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight: Primarily handle dry van freight that is 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations, minimizing your physical workload and enabling you to focus on driving efficiently.
Pay and Miles: Drivers typically earn between $1,100 and $1,500 weekly, contingent on mileage and performance. Additional compensation includes detention pay based on customer policy, layover pay at $12/hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
Running Area: Routes encompass Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Missouri, with all tolls covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance begins the first of the month after 60 days of employment. Additional perks include $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) with a 50% company match up to 3%. A passenger policy is available after 30 days with age restrictions.
