Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Perth Amboy, NJ
Are you a CDL-A driver searching for an OTR opportunity that guarantees weekly home time with minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we provide dry van routes across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic with top-notch equipment and competitive pay.
Home Time:
- Home every week for a 34-hour reset.
- Our OTR routes are structured to deliver steady miles while allowing you to maintain family and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Operate late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks fitted with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems.
- You can take your assigned truck and trailer home if safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations.
- Minimal physical work required enables you to focus on driving and maximizing efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Drivers average between $1,200 and $1,600 per week, depending on mileage and performance.
- Additional compensation includes detention pay based on customer policy, $12 per hour layover pay after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free performance.
Running Area:
- Routes cover Vermont, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
- All tolls are covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
