Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Portsmouth, NH
Are you a CDL-A driver looking for a fulfilling OTR position that ensures weekly home time with minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we provide dry van routes throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, where you will find outstanding equipment and competitive compensation.
Home Time:
- Enjoy weekly home time for a 34-hour reset, allowing you to maintain family connections and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Drive late-model trucks, including International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworths, all outfitted with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for comfort. You can take your assigned truck and trailer home if safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily handle dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations, minimizing physical work and allowing you to focus on driving.
Pay and Miles:
- Average earnings range from $1,200 to $1,600 per week based on mileage and performance. Additional compensation includes detention pay based on customer policy, $12 per hour layover pay after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for maintaining an accident-free record.
Running Area:
- Our routes cover Vermont, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, and Kentucky. All tolls are covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.

- Medical, dental, and vision insurance begin the first of the month after 60 days of employment. We also provide $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) with a 50% company match up to 3%. A passenger policy is available after 30 days with age restrictions.
