Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Rake, IA
Are you a CDL-A driver seeking an OTR opportunity that provides weekly home time with minimal physical exertion? Join American Trucking Group, where we offer dry van routes throughout the Midwest, featuring top-quality equipment and competitive compensation. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving while keeping a consistent schedule that gets you home every week.
Home Time: Home every week for a 34-hour reset. Our OTR routes are structured to ensure you receive steady miles while maintaining personal commitments and family time.
Equipment: Operate late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for efficient heating and cooling. You may take your assigned truck and trailer home as long as safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight: Our freight is primarily dry van with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations. This allows you to focus on driving without the burden of heavy physical work.
Pay and Miles: Average earnings range from $1,200 to $1,600 per week based on mileage and performance. Additional compensation includes detention pay following customer policies, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for maintaining an accident-free record.
Running Area: Our routes cover Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Iowa. All tolls are covered using EZ Pass and toll cards.
Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance begins on the first of the month after 60 days of employment. We provide $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match up to 3%. A passenger policy is available after 30 days, subject to age restrictions.
