Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Roanoke, VA
Become a part of the American Trucking Group as a Regional Dry Van Driver in Roanoke! If you’re a CDL-A driver looking for a fulfilling OTR opportunity that offers weekly home time and minimal physical demands, we have the right position for you.
Home Time:
- Be home every week for a 34-hour reset.
- Our OTR routes are structured for consistent miles, allowing you to prioritize family and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Drive modern International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks.
- Each truck is equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for optimal heating and cooling.
- You can take your assigned truck and trailer home if safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily handle dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations.
- Minimal physical labor required, allowing you to emphasize driving and maximize your efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Average pay ranges from $1,200 to $1,600 per week based on mileage and performance.
- Additional compensation includes detention pay based on customer policy, $12 per hour layover pay after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
Running Area:
- Routes cover Roanoke and surrounding areas, with all tolls paid for through EZ Pass and toll cards.
