Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Rock Point, MD
Are you a CDL-A driver in search of an OTR role that offers weekly home time and low physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we provide dry van routes across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, ensuring excellent equipment and competitive compensation. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving while adhering to a consistent schedule that brings you home each week.
Home Time:
- Home every week for a 34-hour reset. Our OTR routes are designed to deliver steady miles while allowing you to maintain quality time with family and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Drive modern International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for your comfort. You may take your assigned truck and trailer home as long as safe parking is accessible.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily handle dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations. This setup allows for minimal physical effort, letting you focus on driving and enhancing your efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Drivers generally earn between $1,200 and $1,600 per week based on their mileage and performance. Additional pay includes detention according to customer policy, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
Running Area:
- Routes cover Vermont, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, and Kentucky. All tolls are covered by EZ Pass and toll cards.
Benefits:
- Enjoy medical, dental, and vision insurance starting the first of the month following 60 days of employment. $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match up to 3%. A passenger policy is available after 30 days, with age restrictions.
