Regional Dry Van Company Driver (W-2) - Simpsonville, SC
Become a part of the American Trucking Group team as a CDL-A Regional Dry Van Driver. Enjoy the benefit of being home weekly with a 34-hour reset.
Job Highlights:
- Primarily dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook, ensuring minimal physical labor.
- Drivers can expect to earn between $1,150 and $1,500 weekly based on performance and mileage.
- Operating areas include GA, FL, SC, NC, TN, and AL.
Equipment & Benefits:
- Drive modern trucks including International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth models, all equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and the Opti-Idle system for climate control.
- Take your truck and trailer home if you have a secure parking spot.
- Comprehensive benefits start on the first of the month after 60 days of employment, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus $20,000 in company-paid life insurance.
- Enjoy vacation pay and a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match up to 3%.
- Passenger policy after 30 days of employment, with age restrictions based on the season.
Additional Compensation:
- Detention pay as per customer policy and layover pay at $12/hour after the first hour.
- Annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for maintaining an accident-free record.
- All toll expenses covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Orientation:
- Three-day orientation from Tuesday to Thursday, held at various locations.
- Transportation provided via bus or train, along with a private hotel room and meals during orientation.
Requirements
- • Valid CDL Class A license
- • Clean driving record
- • Minimum 12 months tractor trailer experience
- • Pass DOT physical and drug screening
