Are you a CDL-A driver searching for an OTR role that provides weekly home time and minimal physical workload? At American Trucking Group, we deliver dry van routes across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, with superior equipment and competitive compensation. Home Time:
- Home every week for a 34-hour reset. Our OTR routes are designed to ensure steady miles while allowing you to spend time with family and manage personal responsibilities.
Equipment:
- Operate late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks featuring 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for heating and cooling. Take your assigned truck and trailer home, provided safe parking is accessible.
No Touch Freight:
- Focus primarily on dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations. Minimal physical work is required, enabling you to concentrate on driving and enhancing your efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Drivers typically earn between $1,200 and $1,600 weekly based on mileage and performance. Additional pay includes detention pay as per customer policy, $12 per hour for layover after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
Running Area:
- Routes encompass Vermont, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, and Kentucky. All tolls are covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
