Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Suffolk, VA

Are you a CDL-A driver looking for a fulfilling OTR role that provides consistent home time? At American Trucking Group, we offer dry van routes throughout the Northeast, equipped with exceptional gear and competitive pay. Home Time:

  • Weekly home for a 34-hour reset, balancing work and family time.

Equipment:

  • Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, all fitted with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems. Bring your truck and trailer home, given safe parking is available.

No Touch Freight:

  • Primarily handling dry van freight, with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations, reducing physical demands and letting you concentrate on driving.

Pay and Miles:

  • Average earnings of $1,150 per week based on mileage and performance. Additional benefits include detention pay per customer policy, a layover pay of $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.

Running Area:

  • Covering routes in Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. All tolls are covered with EZ Pass and toll cards.

Benefits:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance available from the first of the month after 60 days. Company-paid life insurance of $20,000, vacation pay, and a 401(k) plan with a 50% match up to 3%. A passenger policy is available after 30 days, subject to age restrictions.

Requirements
