Regional Dry Van Company Driver (W-2) - Sumter, SC

Become a part of American Trucking Group as we seek experienced CDL-A drivers for our OTR dry van positions. Enjoy weekly home time with a refreshing 34-hour reset.

Position Highlights:

Average weekly earnings of $1,150 to $1,500, influenced by your mileage and performance.
Freight is largely no-touch (95%) with 85% drop and hook, minimizing physical labor.
Operating within regions: GA, FL, SC, NC, TN, and AL.

Fleet Overview:

Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, featuring 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for climate comfort.
You can take the truck and trailer home, provided there’s safe parking.

Benefits start on the first of the month after completing 60 days, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Vacation pay and a 401(k) with a 50% match up to 3%.
A passenger policy will be available after 30 days, with age restrictions applying.

Additional Earnings:

Detention pay based on customer policy.
Layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour.
Annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
All tolls are covered with EZ Pass and toll cards.

Orientation Program:

Orientation lasts three days from Tuesday to Thursday at various locations.
Transportation is provided by bus or train, along with a private hotel room and meals during orientation.
Orientation sites include Alvarado, TX; Atlanta, GA; Chester, VA; Juliet, TN; Jacksonville, FL; Tacoma, WA; Medford, OR; and Phoenix, AZ.
