Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Tekoa, WA
Are you a CDL-A driver looking for an over-the-road (OTR) position with weekly home time and minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we offer dry van routes throughout the Pacific Northwest, featuring top-notch equipment and competitive pay. Experience the freedom of OTR driving while adhering to a consistent schedule that allows you to return home every week.
Home Time:
- Enjoy weekly home time for a 34-hour reset. Our OTR routes are crafted to ensure you maintain regular family time and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Operate late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for heating and cooling. You can take your assigned truck and trailer home, provided there is safe parking available.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations. Minimal physical labor is required, allowing you to concentrate on driving and enhancing your efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Drivers typically earn between $1,200 and $1,600 per week, based on mileage and performance. Additional earnings include detention pay as per customer policies, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free performance.
Running Area:
- Routes span across Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Idaho, and Montana. All tolls are covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Benefits:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance starting the first of the month after 60 days of employment. Company-paid life insurance of $20,000, vacation pay, and a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match up to 3%. A passenger policy becomes available after 30 days, with age restrictions.
