Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 Job - Trussville, AL

American Trucking Group is looking for dedicated CDL-A drivers for a regional dry van position, providing the benefit of weekly home time for a 34-hour reset. The role features primarily no-touch freight (95%) and 85% drop-and-hook, allowing for less physical exertion.

Earnings:

  • Drivers can expect to earn between $1,150 and $1,500 per week, depending on their mileage and performance outcomes.

Driving Area:

  • Routes span across GA, FL, SC, NC, TN, and AL.

Trucking Fleet:

  • We utilize late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, all equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and the Opti-Idle system for effective climate control. Drivers have the option to park their trucks and trailers at home, provided there’s a secure location available.

Additional Compensation Features:

  • Detention pay in accordance with customer policy.

Orientation Process:

  • Orientation spans three days from Tuesday to Thursday at multiple locations. We arrange transportation by bus or train, along with private hotel accommodations and meals during orientation.
  • Orientation sites include Alvarado, TX; Atlanta, GA; Chester, VA; Juliet, TN; Jacksonville, FL; Tacoma, WA; Medford, OR; and Phoenix, AZ.

Requirements

  • • Valid CDL Class A license
  • • Clean driving record
  • • Minimum 12 months tractor trailer experience
  • • Pass DOT physical and drug screening
