Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 Job - Waterbury, CT

Are you a CDL-A driver seeking an OTR role that allows for regular home time? Look no further than American Trucking Group, where we provide dry van routes across the Northeast with excellent equipment and competitive pay.

Home Time:

  • Enjoy being home every week for a 34-hour reset, balancing your work and family life effectively.

Equipment:

  • Drive late-model trucks including Freightliner Cascadias and Kenworths, equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for your comfort. Take your truck home when safe parking is available.

No Touch Freight:

  • Focus on driving with 95% no-touch freight and 85% drop and hook operations, minimizing physical effort.

Pay and Miles:

  • Average weekly earnings are around $1,150, based on mileage and performance, with additional compensation for layovers and a safety bonus for maintaining an accident-free record.

Running Area:

  • Covering routes in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island, with all tolls paid via EZ Pass.

Benefits:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance available starting the first of the month after 60 days, along with vacation pay and a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match up to 3%. A passenger policy can be utilized after 30 days.

Requirements

  • • Valid CDL Class A license
  • • Clean driving record
  • • Minimum 12 months tractor trailer experience
