Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Wichita, KS
Are you a CDL-A driver searching for an OTR opportunity that ensures weekly home time with minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we provide dry van routes across the Midwest with excellent equipment and competitive pay. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving while keeping a consistent schedule that gets you home every week.
Home Time:
- Home every week for a 34-hour reset.
- Our OTR routes are structured to offer steady miles while allowing you to maintain essential family and personal time.
Equipment:
- Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for efficient heating and cooling.
- You can take your assigned truck and trailer home if safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily handle dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations.
- This setup means minimal physical work required, allowing you to focus on driving and maximizing efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Drivers typically earn between $900 to $1,200 per week based on mileage and performance.
- Additional pay includes detention compensation in line with customer policy, $12 per hour layover pay after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free performance.
Running Area:
- Cover Midwest regional routes across Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and West Virginia.
- All tolls are covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
