OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Altoona, PA by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Operate dry‑van runs for HMD Trucking out of Altoona, PA, moving freight across the country as an OTR solo driver. Pay begins at 65 CPM with average weekly miles near 2,500 and a range of safety and performance bonuses.
Responsibilities:
- Safely drive and deliver dry‑van freight on long‑haul routes while following DOT rules.
- Perform required pre/post‑trip inspections and maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
- Coordinate with dispatch and customers to meet delivery windows and handle exceptions.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A license.
- At least 12 months verifiable experience.
Drivers operate modern trucks under three years (APUs, inverters, sleepers), receive in‑house maintenance support, bi‑weekly home time, bonuses and full benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k).
