OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Baltimore, MD by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Operate long-haul dry van freight for HMD Trucking out of Baltimore, MD, running coast-to-coast lanes with a focus on safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery. You’ll work with modern tractors and a driver-first dispatch team that values clear communication and reliable freight.
What you'll do:
- Safely operate OTR tractor-trailers and manage long-haul lanes
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and secure cargo
- Maintain accurate ELD logs, shipping paperwork, and delivery confirmations
- Coordinate with dispatch and customers to meet schedules and service expectations
Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months verifiable experience
- Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT screenings
