OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Bettendorf, IA by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Operate long-haul dry van routes nationwide out of Bettendorf, IA for HMD Trucking. As an OTR solo CDL-A driver you'll haul assigned freight across regional and national lanes while supported by a driver-focused operations team.
Pay & miles: Starting at 65 CPM with weekly averages near 2,500 miles; incentives for safe driving, clean inspections and referrals.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and inspect DOT-compliant tractor-trailers on long-haul runs.
- Complete accurate logs, trip paperwork and pre/post-trip inspections.
- Protect cargo integrity and meet delivery schedules.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months verifiable driving experience.
- Compliance with DOT rules and a safe driving record.
HMD provides modern tractors under three years old equipped with APUs, inverters and sleepers, reliable in-house maintenance, home time every two weeks and full benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and a 401(k).
