OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Bossier City, LA by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Run long-haul dry van freight for HMD Trucking from Bossier City, LA. We’re looking for seasoned solo CDL-A drivers who appreciate steady miles, modern equipment, and strong operational support.
Your responsibilities:
- Operate dry van tractor-trailers on OTR routes across the country, delivering freight safely and on schedule.
- Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, keep accurate logs, and communicate equipment issues to dispatch.
- Coordinate with operations regarding routing, detention, and delivery instructions.
What you’ll get: late-model trucks under 3 years with APUs, inverters and sleepers, reliable in-house maintenance, 65¢/mi starting pay with ~2,500 weekly miles on average, bonuses, biweekly home time, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k).
Requirements: CDL-A and at least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
