OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Bossier City, LA by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Join HMD's national OTR fleet out of Bossier City, LA, operating solo dry van freight across the country. You’ll be assigned modern tractors (under three years) with APUs, inverters and sleepers, and have dependable in-house maintenance support. Expect roughly 2,500 miles per week, pay beginning at 65¢ per mile, plus safety, inspection and referral bonuses.
Key responsibilities:
- Safely haul dry van freight nationwide while following federal and state regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs and perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections.
- Communicate with dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries.
Requirements: valid CDL-A and minimum 12 months verifiable experience. Regular home time and comprehensive benefits included.
