OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Boston, MA by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Run nationwide dry van freight operating from Boston, MA with HMD Trucking. This OTR solo CDL-A role places you on long-haul lanes with dependable freight and a team focused on driver success.
Pay & miles: Compensation starts at 65 CPM with typical weekly averages near 2,500 miles; additional bonuses for safety, clean inspections and referrals.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate tractor-trailer units and perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation.
- Secure freight and meet scheduled delivery windows.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A and minimum 12 months verifiable experience.
- Ability to follow DOT regulations and maintain a clean driving record.
Drivers run modern trucks under three years old equipped with APUs, inverters and sleepers, have access to in-house maintenance, biweekly home time and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k).
