OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Florence, SC by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Run nationwide dry van freight out of Florence, SC as an OTR solo driver focused on safe, reliable deliveries. You’ll operate late-model tractors with sleepers, APUs and inverters while receiving in-house maintenance support and consistent freight.
Primary responsibilities:
- Safely transport dry van freight on long-haul routes and meet delivery schedules.
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and report any vehicle issues.
- Keep accurate logs and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Coordinate with dispatch to optimize routing and delivery windows.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months verifiable experience.
- Willingness to run nationwide OTR routes and be home about every two weeks.
Pay starts at 65 CPM with typical weekly miles near 2,500, plus bonuses and full benefits.
