OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Fort Wayne, IN by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Operate with HMD Trucking from Fort Wayne and run over-the-road dry van freight nationwide. This solo CDL-A position focuses on safe, efficient long-haul operations with predictable freight and a supportive, driver-centered team.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Drive company dry van tractors on OTR lanes and complete thorough pre/post-trip inspections.
- Load securement, timely deliveries, and precise trip paperwork and logs.
- Work with dispatch and in-house maintenance to keep equipment road-ready.
What to expect: Late-model trucks (under three years) with APUs, inverters, and sleepers, starting pay at $0.65/mi and weekly averages near 2,500 miles plus bonuses. Home every two weeks and comprehensive benefits. CDL-A and minimum 12 months experience required.
