OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Hammond, IN by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

HMD is hiring experienced OTR solo CDL-A dry van drivers to run nationwide freight out of Hammond, IN (46325). Drivers earn starting pay at 65 CPM with typical weekly mileage around 2,500 and access to performance bonuses for safe driving and clean inspections. Fleet equipment includes trucks under three years old with APUs, inverters and sleepers, supported by in-house maintenance. Expect scheduled home time every two weeks and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO and a 401(k).
What you’ll do:
- Safely haul dry van loads across regional and national routes.
- Maintain accurate logs and perform required inspections.
Qualifications:
- CDL-A license and minimum 12 months driving experience.
- Strong commitment to on-time delivery and safety.
