OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Hampton, VA by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Drivers handle long-haul work in modern units (under 3 years) featuring APUs, inverters and sleepers, with dependable in-house maintenance support. Starting pay is 65 CPM with weekly averages near 2,500 miles and opportunities for safety and referral bonuses. Drivers return home every two weeks and receive full benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate dry van tractors on over-the-road lanes.
- Perform inspections, secure freight and maintain required logs.
- Communicate with dispatch and follow planned routes and schedules.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months verifiable driving experience.
- Commitment to safe driving and clean inspections.
