OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Hattiesburg, MS by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Work OTR for HMD Trucking from Hattiesburg, MS as a solo CDL-A dry van driver moving freight nationwide. You’ll be responsible for on-time deliveries, load securement, documentation accuracy and adherence to federal and company safety rules.
What you'll do:
- Operate modern dry van tractors (under 3 years) with sleepers, APUs and inverters.
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs and electronic BOLs.
- Coordinate with dispatch to optimize routing and preserve freight condition.
Requirements & perks: Applicants must hold a CDL-A with at least 12 months’ experience. Starting pay is 65 CPM with average weekly miles near 2,500, plus performance bonuses, biweekly home time, reliable in-house maintenance and comprehensive benefits.
